FEATURES
Within its specific rectangular cut niche, Corte Certo is definitely the program with the greatest variety of features. That doesn’t necessarily mean much, however. There is a lot of software on the market that simply bring together a collection of functions. The most important features in Corte Certo were developed to meet the real needs of our clients in over a decade of exhaustive testing.
HOW CORTE CERTO WORKS
Corte Certo was designed with the first-time user in mind, as well as the new operators who will come to substitute him later on.
No training is therefore required, and money is saved.
Operation starts with the large buttons at the top of the main window, which are visible at all times. Of these buttons, the four first ones are the most important.
The first one, PROJECTS, should be clicked on so that the pieces you wish to cut may be specified in terms of their dimensions and numbers.
The second one, RESOURCES, will display the spreadsheets for registering the Plates available for the cut and the characteristics of Fragments (minimum sizes for future use)
This is also where cut and material characteristics will be defined, (in the “properties” window). The illustrations help make everything very clear. The folders, selectable at the top of the window, allow for registration of the commercial characteristics to be taken into account in calculations.
The third button, CALCULATION, allows for a variety of configurations – including tests for best possible dimensions of plates to be purchased, as shown in the figure below.
After a calculation is performed, its efficiency can be tested through use of the “What happens if…” button to make changes to the previously entered characteristics, (for example, by allowing the program to rotate plates or not taking into account the number of available plates).
Finally, the fourth button, VISUALIZE, displays the cut maps, which may be analyzed individually or in groups
